About the Firm

JSB Public Affairs, LLC was founded in 2016 by Jeremy Betts after having worked at the Georgia Capitol as an aide, analyst, and a lobbyist. After having served as a lobbyist for a number of years for a national trade association, Jeremy decided to bring his focus back to Georgia. This return to Georgia stemmed from a desire to provide exceptional service to clients, but above all a constant insistence on winning at the Georgia legislature.

JSB Public Affairs seeks to serve as the foremost boutique lobbying firm in Georgia. The firm has an unyielding commitment to ethical behavior in every situation while striving to provide winning solutions to clients in the health, energy and utilities, tax, education, and various other sectors.

Jeremy Betts

Managing Partner

Jeremy Betts founded JSB Public Affairs, LLC after more than a decade of service at the Georgia State Capitol. Before forming JSB Public Affairs, Jeremy lobbied on behalf of numerous clients with Southern Strategy Group of Georgia. Prior to joining the private sector, Jeremy served as the lead staffer for the Ways and Means Committee for five years and held varying positions on the House Health and Human Services Committee among others.

Samuel D. Cook, II

In August of 2019, JSB Public Affairs was delighted to bring Samuel D. Cook, II in as an equity partner in the firm. Samuel brings a wealth of campaign knowledge from federal races down through municipal races. With this knowledge Samuel has a large skill-set across the political landscape accompanied with an even larger list of contacts throughout the US.

The firm further expanded in June of 2019 with the introduction of Carlos Cacicedo. Carlos brings a strong knowledge of the tradesmen occupations and currently provides support to all of the clients of JSB Public Affairs.
